6:00 PM: Brief bilingual liturgy with a children’s message and the imposition of ashes.

Palm/Passion Sunday April 2

Palms, procession, and passion. This service takes us from rejoicing through a dramatic reading of Jesus’ death.
9:45 AM: Blessing of the Palms, Meridian Hill Park (with St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church).
10:30 AM: Worship with holy communion.*

Maundy Thursday – April 6

The heart of the Maundy Thursday liturgy is Jesus’ commandment to love one another.

5:30 PM: Dinner church and service project.
7:30
 PM: Individual anointing for forgiveness, foot washing, and remembrance of the Last Supper.
The service concludes with the stripping of the altar as we prepare for Good Friday.*

Good Friday – April 7

Pause in adoration of the Cross – Christ’s self-sacrificial gift that enables us to live.
Noon: Neighborhood “Stations of the Cross” with St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church.
7:30 PM: Tenebrae service concluding with Solemn Reproaches.*

The Vigil of Easter – April 8

Hear the stories of salvation by candlelight and celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter, at last declaring: Alleluia!
7:30 PM: Worship with holy communion.*

The Resurrection of Our Lord Easter Sunday, April 9

We give thanks for the new life we have in Christ’s rising. Alleluia!
10:30 AM: Festive worship with glorious music and holy communion.*
1:15 PM: Worship with holy communion (Spanish).
